Welcome to my website. My name is Eva Marie. I am a real food enthusiast, a blogger, a pack leader to our five dogs, and an occasional fine art photographer when my muse strikes. On personal note, I am a mother of two adult sons, one of whom (Dylan) still lives with my better half (EJ) and me.
This website is dedicated to helping you live a healthy life – and the first step is feeding your body the right fuel.
As someone who has struggled with weight and health issues, I decided to read up on various dietary lifestyles. Over the course of my studies, I devoured books, journal studies, scoured the Internet, and bought numerous cookbooks. Through my reading one fact kept surfacing to the top. Many of the foods I thought were healthy for me were actually like putting diesel gas into and unleaded gasoline engine (1). Simply put – I had been poisoning my body for years. I made the decision to switch to a paleolithic diet and over time my health-related issues either virtually or completely disappeared.
Let’s face it – before we had modern conveniences like grocery stores and processed foods, we ran around in the sun hunting and gathering our food every day. (No, I’m not saying you have to act like a caveman, but you can grocery shop and eat like one!) From what I’ve learned and from personal experience, I am convinced this is the way we should all be eating. It is how our bodies were designed to eat. Perhaps after doing some research on the subject you will come to believe this too.
I created this website to share what I’ve learned and offer great resources for those wanting to explore this dietary lifestyle. I’ve also launched a forum (with a live chat feature!) where people both new and experienced in this way of life can share their thoughts, opinions and support for each other. It is my dream to build an online community of people focused on the goal of becoming (and staying) healthy the way nature intended us to do – through the right healthy diet, the right type of exercise, and even getting a little sunshine too.
If you have any questions or comments about anything on this site, please feel free to email me.
I wish you all the best in health and happiness,
